On the west side of Cheddar village, just outside, is this large Darwin Broadway House camp site, actually on a hill. It is a large campsite, with many facilities, especially for sports and games. There is a large games room but also a cross-bike terrain. Separate playgrounds for smaller and larger children. Partly the campsite consists of terraces, there are pitches with 3/4 gravel and 1/4 grass, but also pitches of mostly grass. Usually the places are slightly separated from each other by trees or hedges. Further available: heated swimming pool, discotheque, minigolf, etc. The bungalows are on a separate field. Wells, Bristol and Glastonbury are easy to drive from here.
