Dutch Wood Caravan & Camping Site is a challenge for the nature lover. A power supply for tent and caravan you will not find here, if you need electricity for lighting you can rent a battery at the reception. There is a Ranger at the campsite that organizes various nature activities for young and old. Horses and cows walk freely around the campsite. The campsite is 1.6 km long and there are 3 toilet blocks divided over the campsite. You can search for your own place in this campground, in the open field in the sun or under the trees in the forest. There is also a dog shower at the campsite. This well maintained site is in the New Forest. The New Forest is a 375 km2 forest and heathland landscape that was appointed as a royal hunting ground in 1080 by William the Conqueror. Today you still find large and old trees in this forest. A beautiful area for walking, cycling or exploring by car. You encounter large animals such as horses, heck cattle, cattle, donkeys and deer. It may therefore happen that the through road is obstructed by these animals. From the campsite, trips to Salisbury, with its 13th-century cathedral and the seaside town of Bournemouth, are easy to do. Lyndhurst is a cozy place with nice shops. The car and motorcycle museum in Beaulieu is a day out for yourself and the children.
