Studfold Farm Caravan & Camping Park
Rustige boerderijcamping, dicht bij een gorge gelegen.
Camping in Yorkshire at Camping Studfold Farm Caravan & Camping Park. The campsite is located at the upper end of Nidderdale in a beautiful hill country close to How Stean Gorge. The campsite is part of a farm, where you keep cows and sheep. Many campers come when the lambs are born. The whole family has been working on farm and camping for more than 25 years and they do everything they can to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Before that, 14 generations of the same family lived and worked on this farm. Studfold Farm is located on the Nidderdale Way and is an excellent center for walking, bird watching and discovering the surrounding valleys with their wealth of historic buildings and varied landscapes, but it is also suitable to just relax. The campsite consists of easily accessible flat grassland and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. There is a small shop on the farm at the reception. Nidderdale is the beautiful valley of the river Nidd, which flows from the wild moorland of Great Whernside to the quieter exit of the valley. It is less commercial than other valleys. Nearby are the How Stean Gorge and the Brimham Rocks. For families with children, a beautiful and educational walk has been developed with questions and assignments, the so-called Explore, Discover and Learn Trail. There is also an "adventure pack" available, a backpack with all necessary attributes for the discovery.
