This campsite is ideally situated for a visit to London. The train leaves every 10 minutes from the station in Brentwood. The bus to the station stops 800 meters from the campsite. The Kelvedon Hatch campsite is located 92 km from the Ferry in Harwich, in the heart of the rural county of Essex. The campsite is beautifully situated in a quiet and hilly area. The camping pitches are situated around two large lawns surrounded by trees and shrubs. The whole gives a big and spacious impression. The toilet facilities are clean but somewhat dated and centrally located on the campsite. In Kelvedon Hatch there is a secret nuclear shelter for 600 people, now used as a museum. In nearby Brentwood you can find several attractions such as a working windmill, Old MacDonald's Farm for children.
