Surroundings:
Lower Austria is divided into 4 regions. One of these is the most famous and the south-western part, Mostviertel. The name derives from the production of the regional drink made from the fruit of the extensive orchards in this area.

Pielachtal Camping is located in the middle of a picturesque pond landscape in the Mostviertel and is an ideal starting point for bike rides, walks or excursions. For cycling enthusiasts, there is the Donauradweg and the Traisentalradweg, which offer a beautiful and pleasant trip, especially during the flowering time of the fruit.

The specially constructed Pielachtal cycle path is opposite and the Mariazellerbahn connection takes the camping guest to the pilgrimage site of Mariazell. Climbing enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves outdoors and indoors in the Dirndltal.

During a tour, a visit to a “Heurige*” is also more than worthwhile (*has a multiple meaning; a young Austrian wine and a simple restaurant where local dishes are served and where that wine is also sold.)

The camping:
In the natural environment of the berderij, the camping pitches are arranged in a double row and in a semicircle around the swimming pond. Upon arrival, the sandy beach in front of the pitch will immediately make the children's hearts beat faster. What could be more beautiful for a child than sand and water?

Campers at Pielachtal Camping will appreciate the uncomplicated way of camping, without having to forego the amenities of a successful holiday: spacious pitches, almost all directly on the water, swimming facilities on site, new sanitary facilities, central location. Shops (farm shop, supermarket, pharmacy, drug store, ...) and restaurants can be found in Hofstetten, only 2 km away.
