Camping Lo Monte

Camping Lo Monte is a fairly new campsite with many facilities between roughly Alicante and Cartagena. The campsite has a beautiful swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), but the beach and sea are also within walking distance. The campsite is very well maintained and therefore very popular with winter visitors.

Fairly new modern campsite within walking distance of the beach and sea. Camping Lo Monte has many facilities and various types of bungalows are rented. There are also beautiful glamping tents for rent. The accommodations can also be combined with breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. At the campsite you will find 3 types of camping pitches in terms of size. There is also room for larger campers. Due to the fact that Camping Lo Monte is open all year round and because of the mild winter climate, the campsite is very popular with winter visitors from Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands and France. And if the weather is less than ideal, a trip to it is only 5 km away. Shopping center located from the campsite is highly recommended. This is the largest shopping center in the entire Alicante region.

FACILITIES AT CAMPING LO MONTE
Camping Lo Monte is located an hour's drive south of Alicante and has good sanitary facilities. The campsite has many facilities, including a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with slides, an indoor swimming pool with SPA & WELLNESS, a bar, a restaurant with a cozy outdoor terrace, various sports fields, a playground, fitness room, a massage parlor and bicycles for rent. You don't have to leave the campsite for your daily shopping, because Camping Lo Monte has a camping shop. In the high season there is an extensive entertainment program for young and old and there are good facilities for the disabled.

ALICANTE, MURCIA, CARTAGENA AND LA MANGA
Camping Lo Monte is within walking distance of beautiful beaches, so the campsite is popular with both beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts. But there is also a lot to do in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. For example, beautiful cities such as Alicante (with a beautiful castle and a pleasant boulevard), Murcia (historic center) and Cartagena (walled city center, beautiful cathedral) are all a short distance from the campsite and a visit to La Manga - located on the largest freshwater lake in Europe: Mar Menor – highly recommended. La Manga - or actually La Manga del Mar Menor - is a strip of land of 22km. long and only 1.5km. wide and is known for its beautiful sandy beaches.

ALICANTE REGION IN SPAIN
The region - or actually the province - Alicante is located on the Costa Blanca, which turns into the Costa Calida just south of Camping Lo Monte. The province of Alicante, Valenciana and the province of Castellon, located above the city of Valencia, together form the Valencia region, one of the most popular holiday regions in Spain. Not surprising, of course, when you consider that the Valencia region is no less than 500 km away. coastline. And these are also largely beautiful beaches.
