Family campsite Illa Mateua is a center for relaxation in the middle of nature on the Costa Brava. The campsite consists of two parts separated by a road. One part is terraced with pine trees and a pool bar, with a magnificent view over the Mediterranean Sea. The other camping area is flat with deciduous trees and has a swimming pool and a children's pool. There is also a bar, restaurant and supermarket located there. There is a diving school at the campsite where you can also rent kayaks, surfboards and sailing boats. Tennis is free at the campsite. At 200 m you will find a beautiful bay with a sandy beach that slowly descends into the sea, where you can rent paddle boats with a slide and sunbeds (there are sunbeds with umbrellas). Around it you will find several restaurants. The area offers many possibilities for excursions, including the nature reserve Cala Montgó where you can walk, the cozy L'Escala and the Roman ruins of Empúries.
