Camping Castell Montgri is located on a wooded mountain slope in the future Montgri Natural Park. Trees give shade on the camping pitches; some hedges provide privacy. There are also places that have access / discharge of water. The first toilet building, which is primarily used by the campers, was renewed in 2012. All sanitary buildings are regularly cleaned. The swimming pool next to the camping pitches has a separate area where the water slides come in. Around it is a sunbathing area where you can rent sunbeds. Furthermore, there is also a bar with terrace, pizzeria, atmospheric restaurant and a separate room with a giant TV and video screen (4x3m). There is an underground disco / pub where the older youth can go completely crazy. You can do all your daily shopping in the supermarket. A Dutch newspaper is for sale in the bookshop. Through some steep roads you walk along a large, illuminated, nicely located midget golf course (18 holes). Higher up the hill are two tennis courts and a football field, all of which can be illuminated. Here is also a very large swimming pool (70x40m) and a paddling pool with a huge sunbathing area (sunbeds for rent) with trees and a magnificent view of the wooded mountain. Furthermore, you will also find a bar, restaurant and a room where performances take place. There is entertainment for young and old and from early to late. On the campsite there is a small petting zoo with, among others, ponnies, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and rabbits that can be fed by the children. Here is also a garden where the children help with the growing of cucumber, paprika, watermelon, lettuce and mint. Mobile homes and bungalow tents can be rented at Castell Montgri. There is a medical service every day. A doctor and even a pediatrician come to the campsite. You would not have to leave the campsite during your holiday. Daily (from June 23rd to September 9th and 8x a day) there is a free private bus to the tourist Estartit with its beautiful sandy beaches and clear sea where you can practice all kinds of water sports such as: swimming, surfing, water skiing, sailing and fishing. Near the Medes Islands is a beautiful underwater world that you can explore snorkelling or diving. In the area you will find cultural and historical sites as well as nature parks. At the "holiday" park Castell Montgri you can be active and enjoy your holiday.
