The camp site is located at the Ratschinger Valley and invites you for breathtaking hiking tours and unforgettable mountain excursions. There are also interesting sights such as the museum of hunting and fishing and the Gilfenklamm waterfall. At this campsite you can really camp, no marked pitches and plenty of space for the tent campers. Reception open throughout the day in July and August. In the other periods from 09.00 to 11.00 and from 17.00 to 19.00. When the reception is closed, someone at the pizzeria can open the lever for the campers. In July and August there is bread service on site. There is a bakery 200 meters from the campsite. There are 500 pine trees on the mostly flat campsite, including many larix trees that lose their needles in autumn. There is a bus stop in front of the campsite. From the beginning of December to mid-January the bus is free for campers. The bus runs to many ski areas, already 5 km from the campsite, and to the Brenner Pass. The longest toboggan run in Italy is in the vicinity and in Sterzing / Vipiteno there is an open and covered swimming pool with a sauna and panoramic views of the mountains (campers get a 20% discount). There is also a climbing park between the trees.
