The camping site of Hofstede Elzenoord is located in the town of Vrouwenpolder in Zeeland. The campsite is open from 1 March to 15 November. The campsite has two webcams. Webcam 1 looks on the new part of the campsite, webcam 2 on the older part. You can almost choose the spots, at home, from behind your own PC or laptop! All pitches are equipped with electricity (10A), a water tap and sewer. In addition, you have a cable TV connection and you can make free use of wireless internet with an unlimited number of connections. The campsite has excellent sanitary facilities. This includes a baby care room, a disabled room, child sanitary facilities and a laundry. Some private sanitary units have even been set up. The building is heated, wonderful in the sometimes chilly spring or autumn! There is a playground for the kids, including a trampoline and a real tractor to climb on. There is, in farmhouse style, a large recreation room with seating, with TV and DVD + beamer. There is also a room with table football, table tennis, billiards and a drawing and reading corner. The attic has been equipped with a number of fitness equipment and beds for the reception of groups. On the farm, the children can entertain themselves with a pony, goats, and a dog. In the vicinity there are several animal meadows including ponies, sheep, goats, free-range chickens and rabbits. There is a football field at the campsite and there is a volleyball court. Elzenoord has created a vegetable garden (also with greenhouse) for the campers with all kinds of vegetables. There you can help planting, weeding and possibly getting a meal of fresh vegetables. The campsite has various rental accommodations: - a few two under one roof housing; - a 14 person holiday home (including with bath, two shower cubicles, garden on the south) - next to the campsite: 6 spacious double rooms You even have a caravan storage. Hofstede Elzenoord is well situated. The campsite is only 100 meters from the cozy center of Vrouwenpolder, with several restaurants and cozy terraces. Include an Italian and a Chinese, but also several other restaurants. In the village there are two supermarkets, near the campsite. The campsite is only at a walking distance of 1000 m from the beach and the dunes on the North Sea and just as far from water sports paradise Het Veerse Meer. The area offers many possibilities for excursions. For example to interesting cities such as Middelburg and Vlissingen. But there is also plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling. There are also various leisure and amusement parks and museums, including Neeltje Jans Delta Park, cruise possibilities, Football Experience Middelburg, Utropia (tropical bird and botanical garden), Hollandsche Hoeve (recreational park), subtropical swimming pools, Butterfly Garden Berkenhof.
