Walking and cycling around the water

Speaking of water, the Canal du Midi runs from Toulouse to Séte. The canal, which is 150 miles long, connects the Garonne to the Mediterranean and has more than a hundred locks. The canal is widely used for tourist shipping. The old paths along the canal are now a popular cycling route.

Mountain sports are also practiced in the higher mountains of the Pyrenees. Everyone knows the Tour de France stages through the mountains of the Pyrenees. You can follow this by bicycle or by car and once you have reached the top you can enjoy the beautiful views.

Lourdes

At the local markets, near the campsites, here you can admire and of course buy the delicious ingredients. Perhaps you will manage to prepare a delicious meal of these regional products for the tent, caravan or camper. How about the cassoulet?
