RCN de Schotsman is a recreational park with camping in the town of Kamperland (Zeeland). The campsite is located at the water sports district Het Veerse Meer. From the campsite you will see the beautiful town of Veere on the other side of the lake. RCN de Schotsman is pre-eminently a water sports campsite. There is a boat shed, a jumps beach and a surf center with surf school. The North Sea beach (Banjaardstrand) is only three kilometers away from the recreation center. At the lake there are beautiful lawns on grass and there is a sandy beach. The campsite offers spacious pitches on sheltered fields or on the waterfront. The campsite rents surf boards and suits, canoes and kayaks. In the summer there are sailing lessons and sailboats and motor boats are rented. The beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool, open from the end of April to the beginning of September, has slides and in the lake is a part decorated as a play pool for the little ones with special play equipment, of course also provided with slides. The campsite has tennis courts, a beautiful restaurant with a terrace on the water, a cafeteria, mini golf and a large supermarket.
