Camping Dishoek
Camping Dishoek is located at the mouth of the Westerschelde on Walcheren in Zeeland. Dishoek is a campsite with mostly tourist places. Dishoek is part of the Roompot Vakanties group. This guarantees many recreational opportunities and activities for families with children. Dishoek lies at the foot of the dunes. You cross the rural road from the entrance and diagonally to the left via a dune transition to the beach. The crossing can also be made 200 meters further by wheelchair drivers. The campsite has comfort pitches (up to 80 m2) with 6A electricity, water tap, cable TV and waste water drainage. Wireless internet for a fee. Your pet is very welcome here. Dishoek is a real family campsite with many amenities. The rabbit Koos is the mascot of the campsite. Children are regularly attracted to recreational events through a very large version of Koos. With the center Koos' Kids Club, a private cozy space where the (smaller) children can be occupied with games or other cozy gatherings. Entertainment, sports and games for children are offered throughout the season. Just after the entrance, the cozy eatery offers various menus. Apart from (fresh) pizzas, there are also paninis, pancakes, but also more luxurious meat and fish dishes. Children can enjoy various menus. Slightly less culinary, but not less tasty: snacks and fries. Guests have free access to the swimming paradise in Domburg, which is 20 minutes by car from Dishoek camping. If you want to enjoy what the area has to offer despite the large offer on the park, there are many possibilities for excursions. For example for cycling and walking tours, but also for example round trips (Veere and Middelburg). Or a visit to towns like Middelburg (historic buildings) and Vlissingen (boulevard). But the environment offers more, for example ZEP Middelburg (attractions, catering, football experience, shops, childcare), Utropia (tropical bird and botanical garden), Berkenhof (Butterfly Garden), Delta Park Neeltje Jans (information about Delta Works, amusement park).
