Cozy family campsite in Westerwolde, in the southernmost tip of the province of Groningen, spaciously set up, located on a lake (Moekesgat) with beach and sunbathing areas, modern and new sanitary facilities and playing fields.

Camping
Experience an unforgettable holiday at camping Moekesgat. Come and enjoy a camping holiday with your own caravan, tent, folding trailer or camper or rent the safari tent or one of the caravans. The camping pitches are 10 meters wide and most pitches have more than 15 meters of space in front of them. Of course, all camping pitches have an electricity connection of at least 6 amps (1,380W). All camping pitches have a view of the lake.

During the summer holidays there are regular activities for young and old. Activities are also organized by the camping guests, from bingo and baking pancakes to fishing competitions.

Swimming pool
Next to the campsite is a public heated outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool, shallow and deep pool. The swimming pool has several slides and diving boards and is equipped with a sunbathing area and playground. The swimming pool is free for guests of camping Moekesgat (except for seasonal pitches).

Ter Apel
Ter Apel is known for the Monastery. There is also a nice market every Thursday. Wonderworld is definitely worth a visit, fun for children, you can see owls, gnomes and much more here.

From Ter Apel you are in the middle of nice areas / places to discover, the beautiful nature of Westerwolde, the city of Emmen where there is often something to do in the summer. Due to its location on the border, it is also very nice to go to Germany.

The campsite is open all year round.
