This hospitable, well-maintained site has modern, private sanitary facilities. Because of its location on the main road, the campsite is suitable as a place to stay, but also for a longer stay. From here, walkers can use two cable cars. Furthermore, it is a great starting point for day trips to: the Aletsch glacier, Zermatt, Saas Fee and Grand Dixence. Mountain hikes are organized on the basis of a certified guide (free of charge and excl. For campsite guests). In the old village of Raron (within walking distance) you can visit the cemetery of the poet Rainer Maria Rilke and the nearby Felsenkirche, which is completely out of rock. In this sunny and driest part of Switzerland it is wonderful to stay!
