Camping Au Grand-Bois is located in Chessel. At some distance the Rhône flows past until it reaches Le Bouveret in Lake Geneva. In addition to many permanent annual pitches, the campsite also has some nice lawns for passers-by or longer stays. The plumbing looks well cared for, but for hot showers and hot water, coins are needed. Camping Au Grand-Bois is located in the middle of the country and there are good cycling and walking opportunities. Montreux is a few kilometers away with the Château de Chillon, Lausanne is a little further but is definitely worth a visit. Wallis is also a well-known place to visit to make various mountain tours. You can also go for trips in the mountains from camping Au Grand-Bois. At the end of the Wallisdal you can go to Lago Maggiore via the Nufenen Pass, but with a caravan it is not recommended.
