Camping Clara on the Costa Dorada

This campsite has a flat camping area with a sandy and stony ground, with deciduous trees that provide shade on the camping pitches. The friendly Joan will even accompany you to your camping pitch, and vice versa. What a service! Do you want a larger camping pitch (90m²) with water supply and drainage? That is of course also possible here. Have you seen the comfortable new sanitary facilities?

Beach and sea
Via a tunnel, under the railway, you walk through the nature park "Els Muntanyants" (including dune area) to the sandy beach and the sea (50m). Wow, how beautiful! A wide and long sandy beach (7km) with an azure blue sea and a Mediterranean climate! That is why we are going to CAMPING CLARA on the COSTA DORADA. Logical, right? The little ones dig deep pits and “fill” them with buckets of water. What a fun! Looking for fish in the sea? How many do you count?

Lubricate well, lie down and get COMPLETELY tanned. That is possible, about 500m to the left, there is a naturist beach. Is it getting too hot? Take a dip in the Mediterranean. Cool off nicely. Do you like walking? That is of course possible on the beach. You can also walk for kilometers in the nature park, including on plankiers. Good for your condition! Taste Spanish food in the renovated restaurant. Are you crazy about bitterballen! They have those tapas here too. Crazy, isn't it!

Spain
Do you want to see something of Spain? Grab your bike and head to the second tallest lighthouse in Spain. Cycle back to the harbor and buy fresh fish there. That will be delicious at camping Clara on the Costa Dorada. Do you like markets? Tuesday mornings from 09:00 – 14:00 there is one in the historic center of Torredembara. Do you want to go further? Walk to the bus station (5min). In half an hour you are in Tartragona. Want to go even further? Take the train to Barcelona (30min). Wherever you are in Spain, just like the Spaniards…..relax and enjoy a glass of wine and tapas.
