Grote, goed onderhouden camping met verwarmd sanitair, op 3 km van de A74 (M). Bij een levendig stadje, met veel wandelroutes in de omgeving.
Large well maintained camp site with heated sanitary facilities, 3 km from the A74 (M), at a lively town with many hiking trails in the area. Camping Moffat has a flat and open grass area with paved paths with some shelter along the edges. The pitches with electricity pole are for the most part paved with gravel and situated around the sanitary building. This building is heated and the campsite is open all year round. Hikers can get their money's worth here. Various walking routes are available at the reception (also from 5 km). The local hiking club starts on a site next to the campsite! Campers may participate in walks organized by this club. In Moffat there are some parks with playground for children, there is a museum, you can fish, there are cycling routes and the tourist is welcome every day at the golf course. Near the campsite is "The Woolen Mill", a large store with clothing and souvenirs. And at the back there is still a weaving machine at work.
