Caravan and Camping Park King Robert the Bruce's Cave is located about 5 km north of the Scottish border on 1.5 of the M74. The park is part of the historic estate Cove House, Scotland's first and last "Glen". It is a wooded area with an abundance of wildlife, such as squirrels, deer, owls and otters. For the campers, 75 ha of the estate has been opened for walking in the woods and along the river. Over a length of 5 km you can freely fish in the river for trout and salmon. It is also possible to rent bicycles there. There is also a lot to discover for children on the extensive grounds. And on the playground is a climbing frame and a giant spider web. The park has all modern sanitary facilities. In the country house now 3 fully furnished luxury apartments have been installed, which can be rented. Except in the park and in the village one can go for groceries in Gretna (8 km). Markets are in Penrith (Saturdays) and Gretna (Sundays). Within walking distance (15 minutes) you can choose from 2 restaurants.
