The campsite of Vila Flor is located in a hilly area, next to a small reservoir. At the campsite a lot of shade through eucalyptus trees. The terrain is divided into flat sections at different levels and there is rolling terrain available for tents. There are no marked places and you can park the car at your place. The bathroom is reasonable. The paths are paved. Camping Vila Flor is a popular holiday destination for the Portuguese, about half of the camp is occupied by seasonal places. Next to the campsite is a beautiful new swimming pool with sunbathing area. You can also enjoy hiking or mountain biking from the campsite. In the reservoir, next to the camp is being fished. This part of North-East Portugal is sparsely populated and a large supplier of olive oil. Excursion tip: The narrow gauge Tua - Mirandela 30 km (beautiful ride!).
