This cheap municipal campsite is a large site, quietly situated on a hill, so with a lot of difference in altitude. There are many permanent seasonal locations where the Portuguese spend their holidays, especially in the month of August. There are separate places for tourists. For campers with a tent there is a special tent area, located in the middle of the campsite. The campsite has a large swimming pool (for a fee) and tennis, volleyball and basketball court. There is a bar / restaurant and a minimercado. You can also rent bicycles at the campsite. The nearest village is at 4 km. The campsite is centrally located for visiting cities such as Viseu, Aveiro or Porto or for trips through the mountains. There are hiking trails for sale.
