On the edge of the center, along the river Mira, you will also find the imposing fortress of Sao Clemente. Tip: also take a walk to the Farol de Milfontes lighthouse, because from there you have a really great view of the sea and the beautiful sandy beaches around Vila Nova de Milfontes.
