Katowice is één van de belangrijkste centra van het economische leven. Tijdens de kampeervakantie in Silezië zijn er vele toeristische attracties te bezoeken. Bij Beskid Slaski en Zywiecki  zijn vele skicentra te vinden, uitstekend geschikt om de vakantie door te brengen. In dit gebied is ook nog gehandhaafde folklore te vinden.

Wilt u even lekker ontspannen tijdens de vakantie in Silezië? Bij Ustron is een heerlijk kuuroord gelegen. In Zywiec is de grootste bierbrouwerij van Polen gevestigd, een unieke toeristische attractie in Silezië. Een bezoek is zeer de moeite waard. In Czestochowa staat het Jasnogórski-klooster, beroemd om de wonderlijke afbeelding van “Matka Boska z Dzieciatkiem” (Zwarte Madonna). Dit is de belangrijkste plaats van de religieuze cultus in Polen, iets wat u zeker zou moeten bezoeken als toerist. Hier zijn eeuwenlang vele kunstwerken verzameld en waardevolle giften geofferd aan het klooster.

In Pszczyna staat een fantastisch paleis, omgeven door een park. Binnen is een museum met een representatief interieur. Voor de toerist zijn er genoeg attracties in Silezië.
