Camping is idyllically situated on a lake, has a nice view of Hammerfest and yet only 2km. from the center. Also visit the St. Michaels Kirke, the church of the northernmost Catholic parish. The meridian pillar recalls the first survey (1852) by Russia, Sweden and Norway. Another interesting sight is the Gjenreisningsmuseet, an impressive exhibition about the devastating in WW II and the reconstruction.
