Camping Officiel Echternach

Camping Officiel is located a 5-minute walk from the center of the very interesting town of Echternach, surrounded by greenery and spread over about 10 terraces at an altitude of 190 to 225 meters.

Camping Officiel is divided into 3 zones, each with separate facilities. Free use of WiFi is possible in a lounge/hotspot near the reception. The zone closest to the entrance "La Residence" can accommodate 70 caravans and 30 tents and is intended for long-term camping. The pitches are separated by hedges.

Zone "Jeunesse" (90 tents) is laid out on 4 terraces in a semicircular shape, surrounded by pine trees. A separate area is reserved for barbecue and music evenings. A 2.2 km long jogging track also starts here. This section is mainly intended for young people.

Zone "Le Paradis" (85 caravans and 20 tents) with many fruit trees is located on the upper part of the campsite on the edge of the forest and offers a view of the valley of the Sûre.

Camping Officiel also has a number of new chalets for rent.

The atmospheric bistro is open all season for a tasty snack.

There are ample opportunities for children to play and there is also an outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool on one of the higher terraces.

Surroundings
Echternach is best known for its historic buildings, museums, music festival and multiple cultural events in a medieval atmosphere. The location between the Sûre and the rocky area of Little Switzerland is also a good starting point for many hiking tours with a total length of 60 km and a cycling route of 75 km. From here you also have direct access to the Müllerlerthal Trail. In the period from mid-July to the end of August, you can take guided tours with a Dutch-speaking guide in the castles of Larochette and Beaufort and the center of Echternach.

Jumping procession
On the Tuesday after Pentecost, Echternach is closed to through traffic for a large part of the day due to the annual Spring Procession. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away.
