Lough Ree Camping & Caravan Park is located on the beautiful lake of the same name in the center of Ireland close to the route from Dublin to Galway (N6). The campsite consists mainly of grass. There is a paved strip along the water. Besides the tourist places there is a large number of seasonal pitches. Lough Ree Caravan & Camping Park has a boat ramp and a jetty and is ideal for various types of water sports. You can fish freely. Next to the entrance of the campsite is a pub; the lively city of Athlone is close by. In 2012 they were busy renovating the campsite.
