Camping Ouzouni can be found at Nea Moudania, about 50 km. south of Thessaloniki, on the northernmost part of the most western peninsula of Chalkidiki: Kassandra. This camp is operated by Dimitri Ouzounis and his English wife. The official language is Greek, English and German. Dimitri has pronounced on-Greek ideas about running his campsite and that is in favor of the tourist. The first rows of pitches on the beach are kept free for tourists. Camping Ouzouni is a very neat campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. There is a good taverna and excellent bar on the beach after 15 June. The showers work with (free) coins. There is a low shower for the children. The pitches are delimited and partly equipped with a shadow roof. There is also a large washing place for cars or campers. At night, in the high season there is guarding at the campsite. Between the camp site and the beach there is a fence that closes at night. There is a beautiful sandy beach with lots of thatched umbrellas and a narrow boulevard, just wide enough for a buggy. Volleyball net and play attributes are present on the beach. The toilet blocks are very attractive with arches and passageways and overgrown with climbing plants. If you come here with the backpack, there are a number of hobs and two ovens available for free. From 15 June it is crowded with Greek guests, but it is well supervised that it is quiet at night and at night. Nuisance will not be tolerated. On Wednesday there is a cozy market in Nea Moudania. A nice campsite for a few days on a beautiful Greek beach with a beautiful sunset almost every day.
