Camping Kouyoni is located on the edge of the village of Gerakini, on the coastal road between the peninsulas Kassandra and Sithonia at a distance of about 65 km. from the airport of Thessaloniki. It is a small and cozy beach campsite with an extensive bungalow rental. The campsite is run by the Kouyoni family (brother, sister and sister-in-law) who staff the 24-hour reception. You can go here with English and German. A large part of the sanitary blocks has been completely renovated and offers hot water 24 hours a day. The pitches have a lot of shade, including ancient olive trees. The places on the beach are unfortunately completely occupied by regular guests. On the beach there is a nice swimming pool with a hexagonal children's pool (60 cm.), A terrace and a restaurant where the cook can also cook outside the menu on request. On the beach and around the pool are sunbeds and umbrellas that you can use for free if you take a consumption. The beach is safe for children. There is a fence between the beach and the campsite that is locked at night. Sports, games and entertainment for children by the pool, only in high season. In the restaurant there is an Internet connection, no WIFI. Spread over the campsite there are a number of BBQ places with picnic tables for all guests. The boat can also join because there is a boat ramp at the campsite. For small groceries there is a mini market, for the big groceries you go to the village. (5 min walk) You get a minimum 10% discount throughout the year with every camping card at all prices. You can negotiate the price for longer stays. You can rent a car, motorcycle, moped or bicycle around the corner. There is rental accommodation for 2, 3 and 4 people. Also two bungalows behind one front door is possible.
