Batis Multiplex is a complete and trendy beach complex right on the coastal road on the west side of Kavala. Camping Batis is part of this. The entire complex further consists of three restaurants, an outdoor stage and two beach bars with the necessary luxurious terraces in different styles with colorful parasols and awnings. All this on a beautiful beach. You can receive about 1000 people at the same time. On and around the beach you will find sunbeds that can be used free of charge by campsite guests. In the children's pool, a bit further, there are lots of water toys and just next to a playground. There is also a beach volleyball court with stands and various water sports options. The entire complex is geared towards food, parties and outgoing youth and so it can be noisy. When you check in at the reception you are told that it regularly happens that a lot of decibels are poured over the campsite, sometimes until late in the evening. Then you are warned and no complaints are accepted !!! Camping Batis is perfect for young visitors who like a party. The beach area has a certain chic appearance. The campsite itself is sober and completely fenced with tall trees and shrubs. The pitches also have a lot of greenery and therefore there is little sun and wind on the pitches. No place has sea view and that is a missed opportunity. Dogs only access with all official papers. The plumbing is reasonably but easily executed and needs renovation. Animation for children and adults is from 1/5 to 31/8. Camping Batis offers free WIFI throughout the campsite. Traffic on the National Road, which runs past the campsite, is a disturbing factor. The campsite is not signposted from this road. Just follow the sign "Batis Beachbar" down, then the sign to the campsite. Cycling is life-threatening on the spot: very fast traffic, no walking or cycling path. In the lively and very cozy Kavala it is fine cycling. You will find many shops, terraces, a wide boulevard and a large harbor with ferry services to the island of Thassos.
