The Diemel cycle path runs directly past the campsite. The well-developed cycle paths invite you to relaxed cycling in the beautiful nature to, for example, Kassel or Warburg. There are many marked and signposted hiking and cycling trails in the area and in the Reinhardswald.
Campingplatz Trendelburg has an area that is ideal for groups. Another part of the campsite is very quiet again. An ideal campsite for walkers, cyclists, canoeists or fishermen. What could be nicer than looking at the river Diemel with a glass of wine from your own place, where canoeists regularly pass by.
Cool down? That is also possible in the clear water of the Diemel. The comfortable sanitary facilities are located in the main building. For a snack and a drink you can go to the restaurant. Here you can also smell the scent of the sandwiches that you can order every day.
