Camping Panorama Camp in Mehlmeisel in the Fichtel Mountains has relatively many permanent places, but also some free places for tourists or passers-by. The campsite is open all year. The campsite is only 300 meters from a ski slope and is located at an altitude of 725 meters. The season for the campsite is therefore in the winter. The terrain is very sloping, even somewhat terraced, with places on grass. The campsite takes its name from the beautiful, panoramic view of the surroundings. The plumbing looks pretty good. The sanitary building is heated. There are also paved areas, which is of great importance, especially in the winter. There is a playground, one rents bikes. One offers accommodation spots for campers for € 10 per night, for 2 people, without power. In summer or winter you can also make trips, for example to the Fichtelberg (Fichtelsee, thermal bath), and the Ochsenkopf (cross-country skiing, hiking, skiing, outdoor). In the vicinity there are opportunities for cycling, guided walks, there is a lookout tower, a toboggan run, a glass factory, a game park, a car museum and a train museum.
