Campingpark Waldsee-Wemding has a beautiful terraced camp site with green-fringed fields. The park is located on a lake (the Waldsee) with excellent bathing water. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful, large sunbathing area and woods. The park moved to another owner in early 2010. They make it work to drastically improve the work of the campsite. There are, among other things, holiday homes built and an indoor swimming pool. In the lake a 71 meter long slide, diving tower, rafts. Surrounded by benches, boat hire, changing cabins, football pitch, beach volleyball court, 3 table tennis tables, hiking trails, plenty of room for maneuver. The campsite has its own restaurant with Bavarian cuisine, terrace and beer garden, an internet room (hotspot) and sauna with solarium. Nearby a 3 km long jogging track. Especially for cyclists, there are special tubular cabins ("Park-Hotels") (4) in the rental that are practically furnished, with beds for two people, light and electricity. The nearby town of Wemding has a weekly market, the largest in the area. Wemding is also a fuchsia city; nowhere do you see more of these flowers. The campsite management likes to organize bicycle tours and music festivals. You can make trips to the Geopark Riss (museum about a gigantic crater of a historical meteorite), Legoland Leisure Park (Günzburg), Nature Park Altmühle, Harburg (romantic city).
