Camping Fichtelsee in Fichtelberg is a (somewhat) terraced campsite with lots of paved areas. Camping Fichtelsee is located near the lake Fichtelsee, surrounded by forests. The campsite is no less than 800 meters away, making it the highest campsite in the region. The campsite is open all year, except from November 5 to December 15. Camping Fichtelsee has a favorable location for hiking trails in the area and on the mountain Ochsenkopf (1024 m), but also for skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing in the vicinity. Near the Ochsenkopf is also a Nordic Walking area of ??the nature park Fichtelgebirge. You can take Nordic Walking lessons at a reasonable rate. In the beautiful swimming paradise / thermal bath (350m) you get 20% discount as a guest of the campsite. Camping Fichtelsee is the highest campsite in Northern Bavaria (800m). The campsite has a very nice heated sanitary building with beautiful, modern and comfortable sanitary facilities. You can use the internet wirelessly on 2/3 of the site.
