Camping Le Colporteur is located about 200 meters from the center of Bourg d'Oisans, famous tourist town at the bottom of the Alpe d'Huez, on the edge of the National Park Des Ecrins. Although the site has a relatively large amount of rental accommodation, the chalets and mobile homes are situated in such a way that there are beautiful pitches for the camper. Tent campers can, if desired, visit a separate section of the campsite. The campsite is very popular with cyclists, also for other sporting guests there are plenty of opportunities in the near vicinity (including climbing, canoeing, white water rafting and paragliding). The adjacent municipal swimming pool is free for campers. In the high season, various activities are organized for all ages.
