Camping Pont de Bourgogne at Chalon sur Saône is located on the banks of the Saône and an excellent stopover on the way to or from a destination in the south. The campsite has 93 shaded camping pitches, including a number of paved areas suitable for motorhomes. The camp site has a restaurant with terrace and has bread service. The campsite is within walking distance of the old historic center of the city with several ancient sights, which are definitely worth a visit. There is a walking path along the Saône and you can enjoy excellent fishing. The management of the campsite changed hands in 2009 and the plumbing has been replaced by new plumbing that meets the requirements of the current camper. In order to reach the campsite, it is best to take exit 26 of the A6 and then head towards St. Marcel. The directions are indicated in the guide and on the signs.
