De natuur is overweldigend bossen, meren en snel stromende rivieren wisselen elkaar af. Ook muggen zijn er in alle soorten en maten, maar daar is wat aan te doen. Op plaatsen waar mensen wonen zijn weinig muggen.
Rendieren trekken de bergen in en worden in het najaar teruggebracht naar de bossen. Vandaar dat Lappen nederzettingen ’s zomers soms verlaten zijn. Blijf dus eens wat langer in Fins-Lapland, want Fins-Lapland heeft u veel te bieden. Als u de bevolking leert kennen, gaat u van het land houden. U komt er zeker nog eens terug.
