Sallatunturin Caravan is ideally suited for tourists who want to enjoy the tranquility and space that Lapland has to offer with a caravan, camper or tent on the way to or from the North Cape in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Sallatunturi. All that with the comfort of saunas, spacious showers, toilets, kitchen, washing machine, dryer and a lake "on the doorstep" and the possibility to participate in various interesting excursions via the nearby (about 4 km) Salla Reindeer Park. The reindeer park can organize multiple day excursions. Camping Sallatunturin Caravan is located on road no 950, about 10 km from Salla. This campsite has only paved caravan sites and is located on a lake. The city of Salla has fully focused on reindeer culture. Not far from the campsite is the reindeer park (Poropuisto) which exhaustively describes the full economic activity associated with this animal. It is possible to make a round trip on a reindeer and to spend the night in various "cottages" at the campsite.
