Camping in Yorkshire is possible at Camping Naburn Lock Caravan Park. This friendly site is managed by the owners themselves and is located on the river Ouse at the picturesque Naburn locks. The tranquility of this camp site in the countryside by the river is ideal for relaxing and to see the animal world, while the historic city center of York is only 7 km away. This rural site has mainly flat spots which are protected from the wind by hedges. The campsite also has a separate section for adults without children. At the entrance to Naburn Lock Caravan Park the bus stops to York, but you can also take a boat to the center of York a few times a week from the locks. You can also use a P + R bus service that departs every quarter of an hour from the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet on the ring road around York at the intersection with the A19. In the Outlet one can sometimes succeed cheaply when buying. You can fish in the river Ouse, so do not forget your fishing rod.
