Relax completely on this peaceful campsite in the North York Moors National Park and amidst the area where the Heartbeat television series takes place. At the campsite you will find alternating open and spacious places and places surrounded by trees. From the western part of the campsite you have spectacular views over the moorland. The North Yorkshire Moors are a paradise for the walker. There are more than 2000 km of hiking trails, some of which run alongside the campsite. For the less energetic people there are beautiful tourist car trips through the woods and over the moors. After all your explorations it is worth a rest day at the campsite to enjoy the peace and quiet of the landscape in all its splendor. You must remember that this site does not offer any facilities. There is water and electricity, but no toilet block and shower. You must have your own toilet and you are really in nature. So make sure you have sufficient stock of food before you go here. But you will really enjoy the oasis of tranquility in which you end up.
