Knaresborough CC Site
Een zonnig en beschut terrein in Nidderdale, waar u in het restaurant van de lokale keuken kunt genieten.
Camping in Yorkshire at camping Knaresborough CC Site. The camp is located in the Lower Nidderdale and offers an access road to the Yorkshire Dales and the many attractions of Northern England. The grounds are surrounded by mature trees and hedges and on a beautiful day it is sunny and well sheltered. Those who do not feel like cooking can try the restaurant, which is only accessible to campers. Knaresborough is a historic market town with a city crier, old paths, a castle ruin, cobbled alleyways and secret passageways leading to quaint tea rooms, restaurants and traditional pubs. The central market square is occupied on Wednesday with market stalls and the locally made lavender water is then smokable. Some summer events are the annual Bed Race (June) and the Festival (August). The area has everything to offer: sailing on the river Nidd, walking along the waterfront, tennis and golf.
