Goose Wood Holiday Park
Een goed beschut terrein, met onverwachte extra's.
Camping in Yorkshire at camping Goose Wood Holiday Park. The camp site is built on an air base from WW II, so it is a beautiful flat area where later a lot of trees and shrubs are planted. It is now a pleasant sheltered campsite. More than 20 years have been worked hard to achieve this and improvements are still being made. There is an adventure playground for children. People strive to let nature go its own way and help a little bit here and there. The fish pond is a nice example of this with its reed collars and water lilies. In a half hour drive you can reach a number of attractions: York with all its attractions, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Byland Abbey, Rievaulx Abbey, Beningborough Hall and a large number of small market towns. Not only can the children play outside, but in bad weather they can also go to a shed.
