Theobalts Park is a spacious campsite located in a 5.6 hectare forest near the M25, the major ring road around London. It is 3.2 km from the campsite to Waltham Cross Station. Trains travel to central London in half an hour with its numerous attractions such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the famous Harrods department store. For around £ 6.30 you can buy a travel card at the station that allows you to use the train, metro and bus throughout the day in London. You can also get a discount with this card for a cruise on the Thames. Close to this campsite is the Lee Valley Country Park where you can hike, fish, play golf and take a boat trip on the River Lee. From the campsite to the west, the Epping Forest is a 2400 hectare area with moors, woods, lawns, rivers and lakes. Epping Forest is the largest open public space in the London area. Pay attention! A low emission zone (diesel) applies within the M25 bypass.
