Poolsbroek Country Park CCC heeft vele attracties, onder andere Boslover Castle en Hardwich Hall. Er is een nationaal fietsnetwerk.
This site was officially opened in September 2008. The site is located in a landscape park to be developed where once there was a coal mine. The setup is ultra-modern and environmentally friendly. One uses geothermal heat and solar panels. In case of emergency, use is made of gas for heating and hot water. It is a beautiful area, but it goes without saying that trees and bushes still have the time to reach full maturity. There are lakes laid out for fishing and there are beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Those who enjoy great walks can follow a part of the long distance path over the Pennines. Although trees, shrubs and plants still have to grow completely, the natural life is already in full bloom with a large number of different species of birds. In the park there is a visitor center with a hidden camera in a bird house, a cafe and a children's playground with lots of climbing possibilities.
