Arriving and wanting to stay, that's what the campsite is all about! Camping Gerhardhof is located on the Sonnenplateau in Wildermieming and offers 100 pitches in 3 categories (Basic, Medium and Luxus), a tent meadow, 6 luxury glamping tents, 8 transit places and 9 hotel rooms on a 33,000 m2 surface.

Each camping pitch is equipped with a water and electricity connection (16A) and has its own drain. WLAN is available over the entire site. All accommodations are located around the centrally located natural swimming pool and are surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama and a beautiful pine forest. The use of the natural swimming pool and recreational facilities is free for camping guests.

Spring in Tyrol is perhaps the most beautiful season of the year. After the long winter months, nature starts to bloom again, the days get longer, the temperature rises and there are many Easter festivities to experience. Spring is the time of many cultural highlights such as the traditional 'Passionsspiele', various palm processions and cozy Easter markets.

Given the excellent facilities, winter camping at Camping Gerhardhof is very popular. In winter, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing or ice skating are on the program. The nearest ski slope is only 20 minutes away.

Gastronomy.
In the restaurant Gerhardhof it is simply a pleasure. Drinks, fine delicacies, fragrant pastries and traditional dishes are served in its cozy rooms and on the cozy terrace. Everything prepared with regional ingredients.

Self-catering guests will find food, Tyrolean delicacies, good wines, lemonades and beer to tap in the camping shop. Furthermore, deliciously filled picnic baskets, hearty grill packages and fresh meat. Water from its own well is free for all guests. Fresh bread rolls are available daily on pre-order.

Sanitation.
Two sparkling clean sanitary buildings with no fewer than 16 family bathrooms, 12 washbasins and 10 toilets are freely available to the camping guests. All sanitary facilities meet the most modern requirements and are cleaned several times a day. Both sanitary buildings have a dishwasher and a washing machine. Detergent and laundry tokens are available in the camping shop.

Recreation.
It is anything but boring at Camping Gerhardhof. Throughout the year there is plenty to discover for the family: swimming, hiking, cycling or horseback riding. Yoga, slackline, football and beach volleyball are also possible. There are quiet places to read, a petting zoo and a large playground. The largest leisure park in Europe is a few kilometers away.

Environmentally aware.
Sustainability and care for the environment are of paramount importance at Camping Gerhardhof. In order to be able to provide everyone with fresh mountain water at all times, all pipes have been thoroughly cleaned up. An advanced wastewater network has been developed. This cleaning system cleans 6000 liters of shower water daily, which is then used as toilet flushing water. This saves 30 liters of valuable drinking water per person per day! The ventilation system has a clean eco-balance. The purpose of this is heat recovery, the system heats the air in the winter and cools it in the summer.

In the camping shop, plastic packaging is avoided as much as possible: dry foods are wrapped in paper and many drinks and delicacies are offered in returnable bottles and jars.
