Camping Am Waldbad ligt naast een uitgebreid openluchtbad, midden in het bos dicht bij Sloß Colditz.
On the outskirts of the town of Colditz there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with water slide, a paddling pool and a competition pool in the middle of the forest. Camping Am Waldbad is right next to this open-air swimming pool. The campsite has nice spacious pitches and enough shade if necessary. In Colditz is the Slot Colditz that was used in the war as a prison for high Western soldiers. A TV series has also been made about this which still gives the castle its name. There are guided tours in Colditz Castle every day, but it is also fun to shop in the cozy town. Simple day trips to Leipzig or Dresden can be made from the Am Waldbad campsite, but a walk in the forest is also recommended.
