Camping Alpendorf

A camping holiday at Camping Alpendorf Weißbriach equals enjoying fresh and clean air and the relaxing view of the mountains and the numerous surrounding Alms.

For some time now, ownership of Camping Alpendorf has been transferred to the younger generation. They intend to do everything possible to bring EVEN MORE attention to the campsite among campers. And to optimize and, if possible, expand all necessary infrastructures. We wish them all possible and necessary success!

But it now appears that "the young generation" is the 3rd generation that runs Camping Alpendorf in the same place where the Grandfather started the campsite in 1962. That is why extensive and very festive attention was paid to this anniversary during the 2022 high season.

The Campsite in the Area:
Camping Alpendorf , a campsite with Heart! A large rolling green meadow, surrounded by the Gailtal Alps and with many shady fruit trees and other greenery. The pitches are spread over the entire site and have a view of the surrounding hills. The campsite offers peace and relaxation for parents and there is plenty of room for children to let off steam.

The village and the surrounding area:
The Gailtal Alps area, and especially the immediate surroundings of the campsite, is ideal for taking walks. The village is "around the corner" and also offers opportunities for a refreshing "stop". And for mountain bikers and motorcyclists there is a wider area that will give them pleasure.

Water enthusiasts (athletes) can easily reach the Preßeggersee (within 20 km) and the Weißensee (within 15 km) from here.

Winter sports from the campsite:
Due to the location of Camping Alpendorf in the Gitschtal Weißbriach ski area, winter sports enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves here. During the winter season, several drag lifts depart from the campsite. The various trails also leave from the pitch. Few people will know that the Weissensee can also be found in the area. But Camping Alpendorf is also a great place to stay in winter for skaters.
