Camping & Bungalows Zumaia is located just outside the seaside resort of Zumaia in a beautiful location in the Spanish Basque Country. A fairly new campsite with good sanitary facilities, 2 swimming pools, bar, restaurant and playground.

CAMPING & BUNGALOWS ZUMAIA NEAR ZUMAIA IN THE SPANISH BASQUE COUNTRY
Very well maintained campsite within walking distance of the center of the coastal town of Zumaia in the Spanish Basque Country. Zumaia has a beautiful sandy beach and is known for the ancient closed rock formations along the coast (Geopark). Camping & Bungalows Zumaia is a fairly new campsite with largely paved pitches for campers and caravans. Each camping pitch is equipped with electricity, water connection and a green area. There are special grass pitches for tent campers. The campsite has excellent sanitary facilities, a playground, outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, bar, restaurant and a small supermarket. And the campsite is open almost all year round!

AMENITIES AT THE CAMPING & BUNGALOWS ZUMAIA
Camping & Bungalows Zumaia is located on a hill. The camping pitches are laid out in terraces so that everyone can enjoy the beautiful view. The multiple camping pitches have a size of 70m2, but very large camping pitches have recently become available. Don't have your own camping equipment with you? No problem. Various bungalows and mobile homes are available for rent at Camping & Bungalows Zumaia. Suitable for 2 – 6 people. You can of course go out for dinner in the historic center of Zumaia, but you don't even have to leave the campsite for a tasty meal with regional dishes. Camping & Bungalows Zumaia has a bar and restaurant, where you can also pick up meals. The campsite also has a small supermarket with, among other things, regional products and fresh bread rolls.

WHAT TO DO NEAR ZUMAIA?
Camping & Bungalows Zumaia is ideal for beautiful walks and beautiful bike rides. The center of Zumaia is 2km away. distance from the campsite. In zumaia you will find several restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a beautiful historic center. From the center you can walk to the impressive beach of Itzurun Beach. The beach is surrounded by high cliffs along the Bay of Biscay. Fun fact: Itzurun Beach has been used as a filming location for the Game of Thrones.

SPANISH BASQUE COUNTRY
The coast and hinterland of the Spanish Basque Country are of great beauty. Impressive rocks and beautiful beaches. But the small authentic villages of the Spanish Basque Country are also very worthwhile. Bilbao, the largest city in the area, is an hour's drive from Camping & Bungalows Zumaia. Next to the historic city center Casco Viejo, the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum is definitely recommended. This special building features works by various artists, including Salvador Dali, Picasso and Mondrian. The beautiful coastal town of San Sebastian (just over half an hour's drive) is also well worth a visit. Stroll along the impressive boulevard along the bay, visit the Parte Vieja - the historic center of San Sebastian - with, among other things, the beautiful square Plaza de Constitucion or visit the sea aquarium which is located in the bay of La Concha.
