Voor caravans en campers is Zuid-Finland een ideaal vakantieland. De natuur is overweldigend bossen, meren en snel stromende rivieren wisselen elkaar af.
De verbindingen naar Zuid-Finland zijn goed. U kunt rechtstreeks met de boot van Travemunde in Duitsland naar Helsinki. Reist u liever over land, dan is de route door Denemarken en Zweden aan te raden, maar ook duurder. De boot is goedkoper, maar dan bent u het dubbele kwijt aan benzinekosten onderweg.
Sauna’s vindt u op elke camping, want zonder sauna wordt een camping in Zuid-Finland niet goedgekeurd. Probeert u eens een houtgestookte Sauna. Een belevenis apart. Zuid-Finland heeft u veel te bieden, blijf dus eens wat langer in dit mooie land. Als u de bevolking leert kennen, gaat u van het land houden. U komt er zeker nog eens terug.
