In Dalmatia we can distinguish some important areas from north to south. The most northern part is the Zadar area, along which everyone who travels to the southern part of the Adriatic coast goes. With the 3,000-year-old city of Zadar as its center, this area has a rich history, but you can also enjoy a lot of beautiful nature.

The Kornati National Park with its many islands and steep cliffs is the main attraction of the area around the town of Sibenik. The Split area with the Biokovo mountain is also well worth exploring. The city of Split became known as the residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian.

The center of the southernmost part of Dalmatia is Dubrovnik. This city with the still intact 1940 meter long city walls is under the protection of UNESCO. In this region with the Mediterranean climate, subtropical fruits such as lemons, oranges and tangerines also grow. Discover Dalmatia during a camping holiday at one of the many beautiful campsites in this part of Croatia!
