The road network is of excellent quality. The roads in the mountains are also very good. Sometimes, however, the roads are necessarily narrow and there are special places to pass the oncoming vehicle. Furthermore, a motorway vignette is mandatory. However, a separate vignette is required for a trailer/caravan. You can buy the vignettes at all Swiss border crossings, at the automobile clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium and at the border exchange offices.
